Dominic Osborne - Q2 2026

Introduction

Quarter two has been a whirlwind—and I mean that in the best way possible. While I’ve tackled fewer projects than usual, the completion rate has been exceptional. Two long-running animation projects finally reached the finish line, multiple websites went live or got meaningful updates, and I’ve made significant progress on my own business growth initiatives. Let me walk you through what’s been keeping me busy these past three months.

Brace Media Animation Projects: Finally Wrapped Up

Two Major 3D Animation Projects Delivered

I’m genuinely relieved to report that two animation projects that had lingered far longer than expected are now complete and delivered.

Project One: This animation was originally due in March 2025 (yes, you read that right). It required minor text tweaks, final rendering, professional voiceover and sound design, plus high-resolution renders for print materials. Getting client approval felt like lifting a weight off my shoulders—it’s incredibly satisfying when a long-standing project finally reaches the finish line.

Project Two: This one consumed a substantial chunk of my 2026 schedule, stretching across several months. It demanded approximately 12 days of solid 3D rendering (which, I’ll be honest, generated a lot of heat from the computers). After amends were made, re-rendered, and approved, I completed high-resolution print renders and handled the voiceover and sound design integration. Delivering this one was a massive relief.

Bonus Project: Quick Turnaround for Existing Client

An additional 3D project came through unexpectedly—a client we’d previously worked with through a Birmingham advertising agency wanted some amendments to existing animation sequences for their USA market. The good news? This was relatively straightforward, mostly overlay edits that didn’t require full re-rendering. However, they did need high-resolution renders for print, which required some setup and baking time. It was refreshing to dive into an existing project and deliver exactly what the client needed for their new marketplace.

Web Development: Maintenance, Rebuilds & Live Launches

Ongoing Website Maintenance

Part of my regular monthly work involves website maintenance for existing clients. This means tweaks, updates, and improvements to keep sites running smoothly and meeting client needs. It’s a cornerstone of the long-term relationships I maintain—consistent, reliable support that keeps clients happy and their digital presence optimized.

Major Website Rebuild Goes Live

The Birmingham advertising agency’s website rebuild that began well over a year ago finally came to fruition in May. After handling the bulk of development work last quarter, this quarter focused on:

  • Finishing remaining tasks and snags
  • On-site SEO configuration
  • Final testing and launch

The results speak for themselves: The site now loads significantly faster because we migrated to better-performing servers and rebuilt the WordPress site to be lightweight. Fewer plugins, cleaner code, better performance on both the front end (for visitors) and back end (for site management). For the agency, this translates to faster page load speeds, better user experience, and improved ranking ability with Google. The team is thrilled—they spend less time managing the site and can focus on growing their business.

Zen Dog Canine Training: Monthly Content & Email Campaigns

One of my favorite ongoing projects is the monthly blog content and nurture email campaigns for Zen Dog Canine Training, a Canadian client. Each month, I:

  • Enhance and publish their blog posts with SEO optimization
  • Develop targeted email campaigns that drive readers back to their content
  • Support their growth and business goals

The results have been genuinely impressive. The client has repeatedly told me that “this period represents their most successful financial performance yet”. They’re getting more inquiries and more business—which means the content strategy is working. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with clients who see real, tangible results from their digital marketing efforts.

Blood Test UK: Product Optimization & Growth

I’ve also been optimizing product listings for bloodtest.co.uk, including adding three brand-new blood test products with dedicated pages, test information, and automated workflows for order processing. As they scale, having a solid digital foundation and SEO-optimized product pages becomes increasingly important.

Empire Base: Landing Pages & LinkedIn Campaigns

Targeted Landing Pages

I’ve developed multiple landing pages for Empire Base, each targeting specific audiences with tailored service offerings. The goal? To funnel the right prospects to the right solutions. Time will tell how these perform when traffic is sent their way.

LinkedIn Campaigns: A Pivotal Shift

This quarter marks an exciting turning point. I am working through training in LinkedIn marketing strategies and am developing promotional campaigns and offers that represent a slight pivot in how I position and promote Empire Base’s services. I’m genuinely excited about this direction because it feels aligned with market demand and client needs.

Growth Services Focus: SEO & PPC

The core services I’m pushing through these campaigns are growth-focused : specifically SEO and pay-per-click advertising. I’m targeting North American clients who are ready to invest in their businesses to see real returns. It’s a great fit—clients who understand ROI and are willing to commit often see the best results.

Personal Updates: Life Beyond Business

Vision Correction Game-Changer

On a personal note, investing in specialist optician services with advanced eye scanning technology has been transformative. With astigmatism and refractive challenges, I now have customized lenses that provide clarity I haven’t experienced in years. I can read my phone without holding it at arm’s length, see my car dashboard while driving without changing glasses, and no longer need separate reading glasses. It sounds trivial, but the difference has been genuinely mind-blowing.

WarAG Festival

In May, my family and I attended WarAG in Westonzoyland, Somerset—an annual event showcasing military history with reenactments, period weapons, demonstrations, and entertainment ranging from World War II vehicles to Viking and Saxon battles. We’ve made this an annual tradition in recent years, and it’s always a highlight: good weather, good picnics, brass band music in a pop-up tent, and great memories.

Warag 2026My 16-Month-Old Son

My little one is now 16 months old and constantly on the move—walking fast, attempting to run, exploring everything around him. He’s incredibly interactive, identifying animals and body parts, following two-step instructions with remarkable accuracy, and displaying the kind of intelligence that amazes me daily. He’s moved well beyond “baby” territory into “small person territory,” and it’s amazing watching his personality and capabilities emerge week after week. Every day brings new challenges and new breakthroughs.

Looking Ahead to Q3

Q2 has been intense—lots of hours, lots of effort, lots of energy. But I’m genuinely excited about Q3. The LinkedIn campaigns and service offers I’ve been developing are soon ready to be launched, and I’m curious to see how they perform and what results they generate.

Here’s to the second half of 2026. The future’s looking good.
